Lost and found images
I pulled out my old 35mm film camera to check the diameter of the screw mount and noticed there was still a roll of film in it, with a couple shots taken. I couldn't remember the last time I shot film, so I filled up the rest of the roll and, even though it's color film, developed it in black and white developer to see how it would turn out. Really, I just wanted to see what was on the roll and whether I could remember where I took those photos. Here's the one image that came out:

It's from the night we got back into Vegas after our honeymoon at the Grand Canyon. We had dinner at the mexican restaurant at the Frontier. It was actually pretty good, as I recall—or maybe that's only because we'd been camping for two weeks and eating only food prepared on a camp fire.
The new images I laid down were just filler so I wouldn't feel bad about spending developer on blank film, but I like these of Molly:

And today I found someone who gets to do this kind of thing all the time, though without the satisfaction (or distraction) of knowing the stories behind the photographs:
